Oliver Bearman caused the second red flag in the third free practice session. The Briton making his Haas debut this weekend braked too late for Turn 1, and decided to change his mind instead and take the escape road. Because his decision was too late, the Briton broke his suspension. Therefore, the second red flag of the day was waved in Baku. Over the team radio, the young Briton said: "I’m such an idiot. Ah ****. I’m so sorry!"
