Max Verstappen and Red Bull's F1 dominance continues into the 2024 season, winning four out of the first 5 races. His win total currently stands at 58, only behind 7-time world champions Michael Schumacher and Lewis Hamilton, with the Dutchman only 33 behind Schumacher.
How many races did Verstappen win in 2023?
2023 saw Verstappen take 19 race wins, only missing out on 3 wins across the whole season, Saudi Arabia, Azerbaijan and Singapore.
The Chinese GP in 2024 ensured Verstappen ticked another race off his list, having never won at the Shangai International Circuit before, with Singapore the only other event the three-time world champion hasn't won at.
He will be looking to break another one of his own records for the most consecutive wins in Formula 1, which he broke last season, winning every race from Miami to Monza for 10 consecutive wins. He beat Sebastian Vettel's record of nine from 2013.
