It is still not known who will be in the second Red Bull from 2025. Sergio Perez's contract is expiring, and many drivers want to drive for the Austrian team. Yuki Tsunoda has also indicated that he hopes the people who decide the driver line-up at Red Bull Racing will consider him. He has impressed recently, as top consultant Helmut Marko told Motorsport.com that he sees huge improvement in the Japanese driver.

At the moment, Tsunoda is carrying Visa Cash App RB on his own. At least, when it comes to scoring points. The Japanese driver is 11th in the championship with seven points. Teammate Daniel Ricciardo did not manage to score any points yet this season.

Tsunoda can use his good performance at the moment. With the potentially vacant second Red Bull seat, there is no better time to be in such shape. Besides the Japanese, there are other drivers in the race for the seat. Carlos Sainz, for example, is also said to be on the Austrian team's radar.

Marko impressed with Tsunoda

The Visa Cash App RB driver did leave an impression on Marko, who has been asked whether Tsunoda is an option at Red Bull Racing: "We are only talking about four races now, although I must say that Tsunoda has improved tremendously. This is his best season so far and he has also reached Q3 three times. He is no longer making mistakes and today his overtaking was incredible. Under the pressure of all the Japanese fans, he still remained calm, did not do anything stupid and, above all, was fast. Let's see how it goes from here."
