The first free practice session is over and that means it is time for VT2. At 06:00 Dutch time, the lights will turn green again for another hour for the second practice session of the weekend. What can Max Verstappen do in Melbourne? Follow it in our liveblog below.

The second free practice - as usual - will also be all about longruns. Which teams have the tyre degradation best under control? C5 tyres are also present this weekend (the softest) and that may start to give some race teams problems.

On Melbourne Park's semi-street circuit, overtaking is relatively difficult, despite some changes to the track layout two years ago. Starting position will also be particularly important and so we will also get to see plenty of qualifying runs.
