Newey's final piece of work for Red Bull: RB17 is ready for unveiling

Adrian Newey's RB17 Hypercar will be unveiled on 21 July at Goodwood's Cathedral Paddock at the Festival of Speed. The hypercar is based on the cars Red Bull Racing has raced and won with over the past two decades.

"We are excited to debut the RB17 to the public for the first time and couldn’t think of a better world stage than Goodwood Festival of Speed," said Christian Horner, CEO and team boss of Red Bull. "We’ve channelled everything we know about racing into making the ultimate performance car and can’t wait for the public to see the result."

Designed by Adrian Newey, the RB17 has been designed, developed and manufactured entirely in-house by Red Bull. The car has a carbon-fibre structural chassis with two seats, a semi-pressurised V10 engine in the middle and a carbon-fibre gearbox driving the rear wheels. The RB17 combines design with high top speeds of over 350 km/h. Only 50 examples will be produced.

Duke of Richmond, founder of the Festival of Speed, is very honoured that the hypercar will be unveiled at the festival.
