Red Bull Racing will swap their familiar livery for a special design once in the 2024 season. Mobil 1 announced that to celebrate the 50th anniversary of partner Mobil 1 engine oil, the Austrian team of Max Verstappen and Sergio Perez will have a specially designed livery at one race. It is unknown which Grand Prix the special RB20 will be seen at.

For years, Red Bull Racing have used the same livery, but occasionally a special livery is used. In 2023, for instance, the team completed the three races in the United States with a custom livery. These were designed by fans who had entered a competition run by the Austrian team.

More racing teams honour Mobil 1

Not only will Red Bull Racing race once with a special livery for Mobil 1, but teams in other cars and motorsport series will also be given a different livery. For example, the Cadillac team—with Renger van der Zande, Sebastien Bourdais, and Scott Dixon—raced the 12 Hours of Sebring with a gold livery.

Apart from Red Bull Racing in Formula 1 and Cadillac in IMSA, these are the teams participating in Mobil 1's action: Stewart-Haas Racing (NASCAR Cup Series), 23XI Racing (NASCAR Cup Series), Tony Stewart Racing (NHRA), Red Bull KTM (MotoGP), Porsche Penske Motorsport(WEC and IMSA), TAG Heuer Porsche Formula E Team (Formula E), and cars in the Porsche SuperCup and a team during the Pikes Peak International Hill Climb.
