FIA confirm: This is what sprint race weekends will look like in 2024

The FIA have decided on the sprint weekend format for the 2024 Formula 1 season. The first free practice session will be held on Friday, followed by sprint qualifying. This is a change from last season when sprint qualifying was held on Saturday as the sprint race.

FIA make change

The sprint race and Grand Prix qualifying will be run on Saturday. Nothing will change on Sunday when the five lights will go out for the Grand Prix as we know it.
