The first test session on Saturday came to an abrupt end for Grosjean, whose Iron Lynx Lamborghini Huracan GT3 suddenly came to a halt in the pit lane. The car caught fire, but the driver was able to get out quickly and remained unhurt. The team investigated how the fire could have originated and replaced the engine, allowing participation in the evening session.
