Red Bull Racing is the 2023 constructors' champion. The on-paper Austrian racing stable captured the world championship by force. It is the second title in a row for the Milton Keynes-based team. Star driver Max Verstappen is happy with his colleagues.

Again in 2022, the world title went to Red Bull, but this season everything seemed to go even easier for the energy drink manufacturer. Whereas last year the team clinched the title four races before the end, this year it was six races before the end of the season. Red Bull seems untouchable this season, apart from a painful weekend in Singapore.

Verstappen praises RB19

Organisationally, there is little difference between this season and the previous year, notes Verstappen. The Dutchman attributes the success to the car: "I think the car is just better this year. I think the people are pretty much in the same spot. We know that they're good. It's about just working with an even better car I think this year. It’s a bit more predictable I think as well, except Singapore, but like all the other races it's been very predictable and just nicer to drive I think."

As to whether Verstappen had the best RB19 of the season under his rump in Japan, he dare not say for sure: "It's been a really good weekend, but I've had some other weekends, I think, where the car has been really nice to drive. Sometimes it's not only your car, but it also depends on the competition, of course, how big of a gap it is."
