Brad Pitt having time of his life: 'Stay here until they kick me out'

It will not have escaped anyone's notice that quite a few shots were taken by a Brad Pitt film crew during the Formula 1 weekend at Silverstone. The American actor has the lead role in the new Formula 1 film and was given his own car. At Silverstone, the film crew even had their own pit box.

"Lewis [Hamilton], who is also our producer, is really intent that we respect the sport. We really show it for what it is, and I got to tell you, as a civilian, I had no idea what it takes to be a driver. And the aggression and dexterity, and they're amazing athletes, and I've got so much respect for everyone out there in all classes," Pitt said in an interview with Martin Brundle at Sky Sports.

Pitt on Formula 1

Pitt praises Formula 1 and thinks it is very clever work done by drivers, team owners and engineers. He enjoys every second in the Formula 1 world and would prefer not to leave. At least, so he tells himself.

"Listen, man, I'm going to be here until they kick me out because I'm loving it. I think it is every guy's dream. I just loved it. And again, I have so much respect for what you guys [the whole Formula 1] do, and I've enjoyed your work for years. So thank you, it's really great to be here," the top actor said.
