Four years ago, Niki Lauda passed away. The Austrian won three world titles in his Formula 1 career. Lauda died 20 May 2019 in Zurich hospital. On 1 August 1976, Lauda's car went up in flames on the Nordschleife. After this crash, the driver's greatest successes were yet to come.

We can all dream of the images of the 1975, 1977 and 1984 world champion's crash. Images that stay on your retina forever. End of career everyone thought, except Lauda himself. With bandages around his head, the Austrian got into his car that same year. It remains an extraordinary story.
