Not only is Formula 1 growing tremendously, Formula E is also extremely popular among organisers. F1 already has three Grands Prix in the United States for 2023, Formula E is also looking at expanding in the country. An ePrix is reportedly planned for next season through the streets of Los Angeles.

This reports The Race. According to the website, one option is to hold a possible race in and around one of the city's sports stadiums. So it would not be about an ePrix in the stadium, but possibly briefly through it. This is also how it happens during the ePrix in Seoul. Other venues in the US city are also still an option. A decision is likely to follow soon, as any ePrix in Los Angeles would have to take place as early as the beginning of next season.

Tokyo also wants Formula E

There is also interest from Japan to bring in Formula E. A race would then have to take place in Tokyo. The current favourite location to host a race is the Tokyo Big Sight area. This includes the Tokyo International Exhibition Centre. This is located in the Ariake Minami district of Tokyo Waterfront City on Tokyo Bay. Delegates from the local government were in Monaco to negotiate an FE race in Tokyo, but a deal may be a while away.

Where no ePrix seems likely to be run is at NASCAR's street circuit in Chicago. There were talks to link NASCAR and Formula E in terms of dates, but all came to nothing.
