Guenther Steiner has lashed out at Mick Schumacher in his new book 'Survive to Drive'. The Haas team decided last year that they would not renew the German driver's contract after he caused several costly crashes.

The Italian team boss's new book is full of developments within his team Haas in 2022. The book will have 304 pages. In it, therefore, it will include Mick Schumacher.

The son of racing legend Michael Schumacher did not manage to score high in Formula 1. During qualifying for the Saudi Arabia Grand Prix he crashed hugely hard, during the Monaco Grand Prix he also had a bad accident, and in Japan he made a mistake after the first free practice, causing another accident. In his book, Steiner lashes out at the German driver after the accident in Japan, PlanetF1 reports: “It happened on the ****** in-lap! Sure, it was very wet out there on the track, but nobody else managed to write off a car while they were driving back to the pits."

Schumacher's crashes together cost the US team around $2 million, and the accident in Japan alone cost $700,000. Steiner says in his book, "It’s just ****** ridiculous. How many people could we employ with $700,000? And I have to now find the money" The book will be released on 20 April, so more remarkable stories about the team may come out then.
