Carey admits F1 streaming service isn't up to standard

Chase Carey has admitted the new F1 streaming service isn't up to scratch. F1's CEO claims he expected these problems and expects the bugs to be removed prior to Australia 2019.

Liberty Media are coming up with many aspects which they hope will improve F1 for fans and viewers alike. F1 TV was announced during winter testing and was initially meant for release in time for the season opener. This didn't go as planned and the service hasn't been without its problems since.

"I think we probably expected and understood that it was part of the reality this year, which is that we want to expand the sport and put the product in the risers. The priority is to bring it up to standard and give a good commercial release next season," Carey said during a conference call according to pitpass.

The advantage of F1 TV is the lack of adverts. People have paid to use it, but have found many problems. Carey expects the service to have a good launch next season.
