Helmut Marko is happy that the partnership with Honda will continue in the coming years. The Red Bull Racing advisor reveals in the Austrian formation's press release that he has great confidence in the Japanese team.

"“Oracle Red Bull Racing and Honda Racing Corporation have achieved great success in Formula One together," Marko stated. "With these new agreements, we are proud to continue going from strength to strength with the technical support from HRC until the next generation of engines are introduced in 2026. We are confident this relationship with HRC will set us up for more success in the future and thank them for their ongoing support.”

Uncertainty at Red Bull over post-2026 period

After the deal with Porsche fell through, Honda is reportedly in the picture to continue working with Red Bull after 2026. However, more engine suppliers are reportedly in the race to sign a contract with the Austrians.

These are said to include Hyundai and Ford who are interested. For now, however, Red Bull is not clarifying the situation, so it remains to be seen what decision the formation will make.
