Full results FP2 at Baku | Leclerc makes small gap to Red Bull

Charles Leclerc finished the second free practice session for the Azerbaijan Grand Prix as the fastest. The Ferrari driver was just over two tenths faster than Sergio Perez, who in turn again managed to keep Max Verstappen behind him. Carlos Sainz did not achieve a fast run on the softest compound Friday afternoon.

The Spaniard seemed on his way to a lap almost as good as Leclerc's, but on the final straight he suddenly lifted off the throttle. Moments later, the Madrile tried again, but then it was a Red Bull that got in the way a little bit.

The AlphaTauris had a strong first day in Baku, as Pierre Gasly and Yuki Tsunoda set sixth and eighth times respectively. George Russell manages to settle in between the men of the team from Faenza. Esteban Ocon and Lando Norris are the other drivers in the top ten.
