Kevin Magnussen expects the pecking order in Spain to be shaky. Several teams seem to be bringing significant upgrades to Barcelona and the performance of the cars varies greatly from circuit to circuit.

No laps in Barcelona

Magnussen is enjoying his return to Formula 1. The Dane has already managed to score points three times in five races, with a fifth place on his return to the sport in Bahrain. The next stop for Magnussen and Haas F1 is Barcelona. The 29-year-old driver is the only one of the entire grid who hasn't driven any laps there yet this season, but according to Magnussen himself, that's not a big problem.
"Barcelona is probably the Formula 1 circuit I know best of all," he let it be known in the preview of his team. Back in 2018, he scored a neat sixth place for the small American team.

Podium for Haas?

According to Magnussen, the grid could well be fairly shaken up in the coming races. "We've seen Mercedes not in form, sometimes Alfa Romeo almost had the pace to get on the podium and sometimes we've had that too. The competition is close."
