F1 Power Rankings | Red Bull and Ferrari impressed the most in Bahrain

The 2022 Formula 1 season is upon us and expectations are high. Now that the test days in Barcelona and Bahrain are over, a glimpse of the teams' performance has been given. Which team managed to impress the most?

Red Bull and Ferrari impress

Ferrari was often pointed out as the big favorite based on the strong form the team showed during the test days. On the final day, however, it was Red Bull Racing that came up with updates and, as Mattia Binotto put it nicely, 'showed they are strong'.

Mercedes attracted a lot of attention by appearing in Bahrain with (or without?) particularly narrow sidepods, but was not able to convert the remarkable design into strong results yet. Whether this will also be the case during the Bahrain Grand Prix remains to be seen, but for now Red Bull Racing seems to be in the strongest position, closely followed by Ferrari.
