"F1 doesn't define who I am" says Vettel

Sebastian Vettel is adamant that Formula One does not "define me as a person".

Vettel is one of the only drivers that doesn't operate on social media as the German decides to keep his private life just that.

Complaints have been made about the Ferrari driver claiming he's 'boring' and former F1 owner Bernie Ecclestone has even said that Lewis Hamilton makes a better world champion than Vettel.

"Sebastian is not doing much for F1. People hardly recognise him on the street," Ecclestone claimed.

Vettel is sure that he won't change, though.

"Obviously F1 is a big part of my life but it is not the most important thing," Vettel told The Guardian.
