Kelly Piquet goes on US trip while Verstappen is busy at the Nordschleife

While Verstappen was racing last weekend with his GT3 team, Kelly Piquet took a trip to the other side of the world.

The Brazilian model shared various photos of her trip on social media, travelling from New York to Los Angeles. She was also joined by her daughter, Penelope.

"From west coat to east coast," Verstappen's partner wrote in her caption.

Meanwhile, Verstappen was in Germany taking on the ADAC 24h Nurburgring Qualifiers. The Dutchman was in the lead on Sunday, but a technical issue prevented him from taking victory together with his Austrian teammate Lucas Auer.

Lewis Hamilton is also spending time in the United States, similar to Kelly Piquet. The Briton has been frequently spotted with his rumoured partner Kim Kardashian. They also attended Coachella together.

After the two had a two-hour dinner at Nobu Malibu previously, described as a 'romantic date night', paparazzi later pictured the seven-time F1 world champion and Kardashian on a beach date, where they seemingly confirmed their relationship with a kiss.
