Why isn't Vips wearing a Red Bull coverall? No comment

He told Autosport that he 'fully accepts' the statement from Formula 2. The 21-year-old driver realises that he made a huge mistake and offended people by using the N-word. Vips is grateful to Hitech for giving him a second chance and not dismissing him straight away.

The current number seven in Formula 2 wants to put the situation behind him and focus on getting good results. Above all, however, he wants to show everyone that he has learned from the unpleasant situation and that he has become a better person.

Red Bull seemed to have said goodbye to Vips after the incident, but prior to the Austrian Grand Prix it seemed otherwise. The Austrian team clarified that Vips is still a Red Bull junior, but that he has only had to give up his place as test and reserve driver. Nevertheless, Vips will not be wearing Red Bull overalls (anymore) in Austria. Vips himself did not wish to comment on this to the aforementioned medium.
