Max Verstappen has been eliminated in first round of qualifying for the Brazilian Grand Pirx.
Verstappen all weekend long has complained about his Red Bull car not being up to the task of posing themselves as realistic contenders for the title.
The issues compounded for the reigning world champion during qualifying for the Sao Paulo Grand Prix, when despite salvaging a P4 in the Sprint, Verstappen couldn't bring his RB21 over the line higher than P16.

With Verstappen eliminated in Q1, his chances of fulfilling his title comeback bid have suffered a heavy blow, with the Dutchman currently sitting 39 points off Lando Norris' lead in the Standings.
