Max Verstappen will start the Chinese Grand Prix Sprint from eighth place. The Dutchman did not gain a position, as Pierre Gasly's was not penalized by the stewards.
The Frenchman was investigated for impeding the Red Bull Racing driver at the Shanghai International Circuit.
He originally finished in seventh place, one position ahead of Verstappen. The Alpine driver can keep his position. The Dutchman himself acknowledged to the stewards that he was not impeded by his former teammate.
