Graham Stoker has applied to become the new President of the FIA. Jean Todt's term is coming to an end and Stoker is a logical replacement as Vice-President Sport.

New FIA President

Stoker has been part of the FIA World Motor Sport Council since 2004 and was appointed in 2012 as the right-hand man to Jean Todt, whose term expires at the end of this year. Stoker has also announced candidates to join him. For example, Le Mans winner, Tom Kristensen, is to take up his role as Vice-President Sport.
Besides the arrival of Kristensen, Stoker is mainly looking for stability. Thus, he wants to retain Thierry Willemarck as Vice-President for Mobility, and Brian Gibbons will continue as President of the FIA Senate. The other option for this candidacy is Mohammed ben Sulayem, although he has not yet officially applied for the position.
