BREAKING | Australian GP to stay till 2035

After the return of F1 in Australia in the 2022 season, the circuit has now had a bumper contract extension with the city of Melbourne till 2035.
With a record of over 400,000 fans in attendance over the Grand Prix weekend as well as many updates to the circuit to increase the racing spectacle, the love is truly there between F1, the city of Melbourne and the fans. F1 can also confirm that the Formula 2 support races will also have Australia as a venue on their calendar going forward.
As F1 CEO Stefano Domenicali stated (from F1.com): “The race has always been a favourite for the fans, drivers and the teams and Melbourne is an incredible and vibrant international city that is a perfect match for our sport."
