Coulthard lets fans enjoy roaring V8 engine of RB8

The Austrian Grand Prix has been Red Bull Racing's signature event for years. Before Sunday's Grand Prix started, the Austrian team sent David Coulthard onto the track in the RB8.

Coulthard left Red Bull's racing team after the 2008 season and also retired from Formula 1. He has always remained part of Red Bull, however, and is often seen in action with older cars for Red Bull's many videos.

Prior to the 2022 Austrian Grand Prix, Coulthard was put in the RB8. With that car, Sebastian Vettel won his third of four world titles in 2012. Coulthard says he enjoyed the roaring V8 engine and says it felt good to drive an F1 car on a Grand Prix circuit again after a long time.
