Trouble for Bottas in Bahrain: Alfa Romeo car breaks down

Valtteri Bottas was doing well and completed 72 laps this morning, but the Finnish driver stalled with 80 minutes to go in the morning session. Presumably, it involved problems with the hydraulics, something we also saw with George Russell and Mercedes on Friday.
Bottas also crawls into the 2023 car in the afternoon. The Alfa Romeo team will use the lunch break to repair the car.
In the first hours of Saturday, the 33-year-old driver-focused mainly on driving long runs. Bottas did not record a single fast lap, as did Nyck de Vries at AlphaTauri by the way.
