Verstappen was not satisfied with this pole lap

Max Verstappen took his third pole position in a row on Saturday in Austria, but he wasn't really satisfied with it. Where he was dominant all week on the Red Bull Ring, this pole almost slipped from his hands in the final phase of Q3. In the onboard images you can see why.

Verstappen no longer wants to be first out

Verstappen was sent out of the pits too early at the end of qualifying for his second flying lap. The track conditions were not optimal and so he was not faster than his first attempt.

So his first lap had to be good enough. It just wasn't good enough and onboard footage shows that this lap wasn't ideal either. In turn three he slides a bit too far. It didn't spoil the fun for the mechanics though.
