I don't recall Bernie being so vocal when his mate Mosley was literally caught with his pants down in a sado-masochism dungeon !!08:37

Morning Zac, I agree, I seem to recall it was Schumacher that raised the bar when it came to physical training and increased fitness levels. Although the article's heading is more than a little misleading ( as usual ) when the article is read in it's entirety07:21

JD, wrong, the Williams had several non-finishes earlier in the season so unreliability denied them being the fastest car through the entire season, from 16 races Ayrton had 7 wins, 3 seconds and 2 thirds spread across the season as I recall, ( 12 podiums, not too shabby ) btw, Senna was my hero so I would be more pro than anti09-07-2025 22:30

J41L, After Ayrton Senna’s tragic death in May 1994, further investigation into Benetton revealed hidden software labeled “launch control” – a feature that automated the start sequence. Although Benetton argued it was only used during testing and required code reconfiguration for activation, the software’s mere existence raised suspicions. Launch control provided a potential advantage by managing clutch, gear shifts, and engine speed automatically – another banned driver aid. Good enough for you ? But we won't go down the fuel rig cheat will we Briatore and Horner make good bedfellows09-07-2025 22:20

I may be wrong JD but I seem to recall Ferrari approached Bridgestone for want they wanted from a tyre, all the other Bridgestone runners had to make do with a tyre developed solely to Ferrari spec, but granted Michelin then developed a better tyre that stymied Ferrari and they struggled09-07-2025 19:40

Afternoon JD, don't get me wrong, I'm not implying for one minute that Toto doesn't want Max any more than any TP ( other than Zac of course but maybe even that is debatable ) my comment is directly opposed to Max in a car is akin to polishing a turd and and making a gold nugget, yes he outdrives the current RB BUT he's not God just an outstanding driver so to say that his driving prowess is worth more than the100mill spent on development is total fantasy (as we're seeing in the 'undriveable' RB )09-07-2025 19:28

Hmm, not sure about that Joost tbh, during the race granted both sides had a view before Mess-up went off piste with his own rules, but personally I think at a later meeting the FIA talked Toto down into NOT forcing revisiting the race result, and I think Mess-up being shown the door was probably one of the decisions, it was all handled behind closed doors with NDAs so we can only speculate rather than know the truth, I have to say it was a shame it was the title decider rather than a race earlier in the season because it became more of a 'them and us' debate, for me personally I think in the main it was an enthralling 'edge of the seat' Championship marred by the actions of a very weak man09-07-2025 18:33

'But I dunno how quick Max would really have been in a non-custom designed F1 car' Afternoon Legend, I'm not a particular fan of Max as you know but he was pretty quick in the first RB he jumped into before it was designed for him to be fair, aside from the fact he pulled many a dirty move that is but thats a different debate09-07-2025 18:16

CC 33, Come on mate, that's a crock, I'm not saying Max isn't handy behind the wheel but if he was that talented he should be beating the McLs week in and week out in a below par RB rather than effing and blinding over the phone saying it's undriveable surely ?!! Tbh, I think your comment is a bit wishful thinking09-07-2025 18:00
