Kimi Raikkonen started his career with Swiss outfit Sauber Petronas. Early-on in his F1-career, his talent was discovered by former McLaren team boss Ron Dennis and Kimi ended up signing for McLaren as a replacement for the departing Mika Hakkinen. Raikkonen was seen as one of the fastest drivers of his generation and got the nickname 'The Iceman' for his typical lack of emotion on his face. In 2007, he signed a contract with Ferrari and immediately won the world title that year. Raikkonen took a hiatus from F1 to go rallying in 2010, but after a year he returned to Formula 1 for Lotus. Since 2014, the Finnish driver has been active again at the Marinello-based team Ferrari.
