Former world champion Jacques Villeneuve believes the 2018 season will be a success for Ferrari’s Kimi Raikkonen.
Villeneuve, who won the world title in 1997, has noticed Raikkonen’s increasing strength in recent years, saying:
“He has become a great personality,
“He doesn’t care about anyone and just lives his own life.”
Villeneuve added:

“Kimi is getting stronger every year,
“Even here. He was fast from Friday practice and more comfortable than Sebastian. That means the car works for him.
“This could be his year.”
Raikkonen won his only world title back in 2007, but even Ferrari official Piero Ferrari believes the Finn has a chance this season, saying:
“With a good car, he easily finds the limit and it’s a pleasure to watch him drive.

“But if he doesn’t feel the car properly, then it’s difficult for him.”
Kimi will be looking to improve on his 3rd place at last weekends Australian Grand Prix when F1 returns in Bahrain on the 8th of April.
