Red Bull chief strategist enjoys working with Verstappen and Perez

As Red Bull Racing's chief strategist, Hannah Schmitz gets up close and personal with Max Verstappen and Sergio Perez. Although both drivers have a lot on their minds, she finds that they are very involved in her work. She tells in the Beyond the Ordinary podcast of Red Bull.

Whereas Ferrari have not always been able to apply the right strategy this season, Red Bull generally seem to have things in order. With Schmitz in its ranks, the Austrian outfit has a strong team that has proved itself in recent years.

Last season they won the world title and this year Red Bull is well on its way to winning the first prize. Moreover, the formation is on track to win the constructors' championship. According to Schmitz, this is not only due to its work, but also to the involvement of Perez and Verstappen.

"They're definitely both very interested in understanding the strategy and the plans you're putting forward," the chief strategist says. "They're also really interested in all the pace analysis and everything that's going on, and they ask a lot of questions, so they're definitely engaged."
