Race organisers make changes after sprint chaos for the F1 Brazil GP

Race organisers at the Sao Paulo Grand Prix have made changes at Interlogas after three crashes occurred at Turn 3 during Saturday's sprint race.
Oscar Piastri, Nico Hulkenberg and Franco Colapinto all ended up in the barriers at the exact same corner, with some water that had collected on the kerb thrown across the track after Lando Norris clipped the kerb.
As a result, according to The Race, to make sure no more water is held up as a result of the kerb and forms another puddle, Grand Prix organisers have taken action by cutting a makeshift drainage channel at the Turn 3 kerb.

Sprint chaos brings Interlagos change

Despite less rain falling than expected after a cyclone warning descended on São Paulo, Saturday's sprint race still saw some wet-dry action at Interlagos.
During the 24-lap sprint, race leader and eventual winner Lando Norris clipped the Turn 3 kerb, spraying the collected rainwater all over the track, resulting in Piastri, Hulkenberg and Colapinto all crashing within seconds of each other.
Norris went on to win the race and extend his lead in the drivers' championship to nine points after Piastri's crash and early retirement.

More rain incoming for Sunday's Grand Prix?

As it has been all Grand Prix weekend, yet more changeable and unpredictable weather is expected for Sunday's race after some rain early in the Sao Paulo morning.
There are already changes to the grid after Saturday's qualifying, with Max Verstappen changing his power unit after a dismal P16 during the timed session, meaning the Dutchman will start from the pit lane.
