Sergio Perez was given a 10-second time penalty in the early stages of the Emilia Romagna Grand Prix for overtaking cars while behind the safety car.
Perez goes for a spin
Sergio Perez lost control of his Red Bull behind the safety car and went off track in the Piratella. He lost a number of places and decided to get them back while the safety car was still on the track. This is of course not allowed and so the race committee did not have to think long about a penalty.
