Lammers expects more from Red Bull: ''They have to work on the balance''

Red Bull Racing was disappointed at the Austrian Grand Prix. Alexander Albon and Max Verstappen both dropped out and so the team stands with zero points. This will have to improve during the Styrian Grand Prix.

Does Red Bull strike back?

"Mercedes was just very strong in Austria and you can see they're doing well again. However, I see Red Bull still improving and they clearly had not yet found the optimal set-up", says Jan Lammers in conversation with Motorsport.com. The question is whether Red Bull can make the step on time in 2020?
''Red Bull will come with adjustments during the second race, where not much will change at Mercedes. They have already done it. Max was also not completely satisfied with the balance, so they will work on that. Then the question is whether that's enough, but from Red Bull you can expect them to be better this weekend'', said the former Formula 1 driver.

It's clear that not everything runs smoothly at Red Bull Racing. Verstappen complained a lot about the balance of the car and on Sunday both drivers dropped out. However, the latter has an additional disadvantage: the team has to solve the big problems before the upcoming Grand Prix with fewer dates.
''Red Bull has done less mileage and that means you can't build on last weekend. In that respect they just didn't make enough meters'', said the Dutchman.
