The qualifying for the Dutch Grand Prix offered plenty to discuss. From McLaren's dominance to Lance Stroll's crash. Max Verstappen also had to fear a penalty for a while, but the FIA stewards decided to spare him. This is how the internet reacted to qualifying in Zandvoort.
Oscar Piastri was a little slower than Lando Norris throughout the weekend, but he really came to life in qualifying.
The Australian was twelve one thousandths of a second faster than his British teammate, so he will be starting from pole position on Sunday.
Norris starts beside him. Max Verstappen and Isack Hadjar start on the second row. An impressive performance for the Racing Bulls driver, who was exuberantly shouting over the board radio with joy after his performance.
It was a debacle for Lance Stroll on Saturday afternoon in the Dutch dunes. During FP2 he found the wall, and during qualifying he could not keep his Aston Martin from suffering the same fate.
He drove over the grass with his left hand tires, after which he lost control of his car. It marked the end of his session.
