"I always watched Formula 1 on Sundays," the German stated on Formel1.de's YouTube channel,
"and I wanted to be a Formula 1 driver as a child."
The reason? The prejudice Formula 1 and the FIA are currently hard at work to dismantle with various endeavours such as the newly created
F1 Academy all-female racing series that has cemented the surge of drivers like Spanish Marta Garcia and British Abbi Pulling.
"At the time, no one really took it seriously, and as a child, of course, you don't know how to get into karting. That's why it never solidified. I've never driven a kart professionally either," added Müller.

Although her aspirations to be the first female F1 driver in the modern era did not come to fruition, she was able to spearhead her way into a position that had never before been taken up by a woman, a driver's race engineer.

"My job with Esteban actually works very well," delving into the nature of her working relationship with Ocon: "With us, everything is actually more of an open discussion."
She highlights the trust both have in each other, which has been the result of the honesty in their interactions, although Ocon's vast experience as a F1 driver has also helped the pair get off to a solid start in their collaboration.
In 2025 the importance of qualifying has grown given the difficulties cars face when attempting to overtake, a result of the dirty air the pursuing cars are hit with when closely following the car ahead. Nevertheless Müller argues that there are still many key decisions to be made on a Sunday.

"Many people don't know that we make a lot of decisions on Sundays," she added.
"Of course, we already have all the information on Saturday evening, but on Sunday many things change, such as the weather, which has a very strong influence on the strategy," she concluded.
Haas F1 is on the rise
Following a key upgrade package, the last big update the team will introduce in the 2025 season,
the American team's expectations have increased. Both Oliver Bearman and Esteban Ocon have already proven so, with the British talent being able to capitalise on the perfomance surge in COTA and in Mexico,
with a stellar P4 in the Autodromo Hermanos Rodriguez, which along with Ocon's P9 has
brought the team back into contention for P6 in the Constructors' championship. The fight which involves Aston Martin, Racing Bulls, Sauber and Haas, will be determined in the remaining four Grands Prix, but the team led by team principal Ayao Komatsu has certainly poised themselves as one of the favourites to take the coveted place.
