Christian Horner is not happy with the FIA. The organization came out with the news this week that it is going to implement new guidelines for the teams to fix the problems with porpoising, but the team boss doesn't think this is a good thing. He tells this in conversation with Sky Sports.
Since this season, several Formula 1 teams have been struggling with porpoising problems. Ferrari and Mercedes, among others, have been trying hard all year to fix it, but the problem still hasn't completely disappeared. The FIA then decided to come up with measures, because the health of the drivers would be at stake.

Horner makes his opinion clear

According to Horner, however, it is not a good thing for the FIA to get involved. "Some cars have the problem, some don't. It would be unfair to make a rule change halfway through the year because a team missed the target. They should be sorting it out," he let it be known.
"Porpoising is within the control of the team. The cost cap is about the cost of energy, the cost of living, the cost of electricity. They're things you can't control. There is no perfect answer, but no one could have predicted the problems that occurred when the cost cap was introduced. Hopefully, common sense prevails."
