Last week it was announced that Haas had passed the crash test, but now Ferrari has also passed the frontal crash test, reports Motorsport.com. Good news for the team from Maranello!
Prior to a new Formula One season, cars are extensively tested to make sure they are safe. The teams have to get the green light to compete in the winter tests in Barcelona that take place from 23 to 25 February.
It's good news that Ferrari passed the test, but it's not the Italian team's first test. At the end of 2020, the team did exactly the same test as they wanted to understand what the new regulations would mean for the car. The rule change was then pushed back to 2022, but that extra data can certainly help the team.

The goal is to win

Carlos Sainz and Charles Leclerc finished on the podium a total of five times, but the team hopes to do even better next year so that they can achieve podiums and victories more often. Mattia Binotto doesn't think they'll suddenly beat Mercedes or Red Bull Racing, but they do have a goal in mind.
