At the Canadian Grand Prix, the two Ferrari drivers were once again behind the rest of the frontrunners. Ahead of the next weekend, team principal Frédéric Vasseur promises they will be on top of their game.
Charles Leclerc and Lewis Hamilton finished in P5 and P6 respectively at the Circuit Gilles Villeneuve, both gaining a position after Lando Norris crash.
Team principal Vasseur underlined in the team's press release they have to be on form to deliver the maximum result. "It only takes a little over a minute for a Formula 1 car to lap the Spielberg circuit, which means the field is closely bunched in terms of laptime, and thousandths of a second can make a big difference. Managing to put everything together will be crucial."
He continued: "The fact that seven of the ten corners are right handers combined with significant changes in elevation only adds to the challenge. We have been working hard in Maranello with the aim of ensuring that all the necessary elements come together in such a way as to deliver the best possible performance."
"Charles, Lewis and the whole team are determined to give their best at a track that often delivers one of the most spectacular races of the season."

Updates for Ferrari at the Red Bull Ring?

Lewis Hamilton was already asked about the updates on his Ferrari car during the Drivers' Parade in Canada, to which the Briton answered they don't have one for that weekend, but he would like one.
Entering the Austrian Grand Prix, rumours from Italian media suggest that the Briton will get his wish, and the Scuderia will bring first major update for this weekend.
