The news that George Russell is heading to Mercedes won't surprise anyone. Yet his name immediately became trending as the internet was flooded with reactions to the news.
Most fans see the arrival of Russell as a good development. The expectation is that he will be able to make things difficult for Lewis Hamilton, and that the battle in the coming years might even be between him and Max Verstappen.

The Russell and Verstappen battle will be the focal point of F1 for many years to come should their cars remain competitive which I think they will. Both will be 24 years old starting next season, Hamilton 37. This should be very interesting to watch.
