Red Bull dominates 2021 pit stop list: Only one other team in the top 10
The fact that Red Bull Racing are good at pit stops is obvious by now, but just how good they are compared to the rest remains amazing. Red Bull dominate the top ten fastest pitstops this season, and there is just one other team, other than Red Bull, in that list.
Ever since Red Bull have been in Formula 1, it has always been great with pit stops. They practice this more than any other team, and it pays off. Every year Red Bull set new records and top all the charts when it comes to pit stops. Looking at the ten fastest pit stops of 2021, it's no different.
Red Bull pitstops
The fastest pit stop this season was in the last race; Max Verstappen's pit stop in Hungary was completed in just 1.88 seconds. It was not the first pit stop under two seconds this season, either. Red Bull had managed that four times before, plus one time of exactly two seconds. The fastest eight pitstops were made by Red Bull Racing.
Only in P9 is there a non-Red Bull pit stop. The pitstop of Lance Stroll, of Aston Martin, in Portugal with a time of 2.08s. With that Aston Martin is the only team that comes close to Red Bull. In P10 there is again a pitstop of Red Bull. This was Verstappen's pitstop in Steiermark, which went in 2.09s.
