For the first time since 2013, Red Bull Racing is once again at the top of the Constructors' Championship and looks set to make a real assault on Mercedes' hegemony. Helmut Marko is looking forward to this battle.

Mercedes have always topped the Constructors' Championship since the hybrid era in 2014, and only in 2017 and 2018 was it Sebastian Vettel who prevented it from being a Mercedes driver leading the championship in all those years too. Marko is done with that now, though.

Finally time for Red Bull

''We have been humiliated by Mercedes for seven years. Now we see the chance to hit back for once, and we will do everything to achieve that. Max belongs to the younger generation. It's a long season, and hopefully he has more reserves than Hamilton, even though Lewis has already done many great races this season,'' the Austrian told Sport Bild.

According to Marko, Lewis Hamilton is still the man to beat, but Max Verstappen is very close. ''Max has learned that it's about the complete package. He doesn't need to explode if something goes wrong during the first free practice. With his experience, Hamilton is still up front, but Max and Charles Leclerc are close behind. Verstappen is probably the fastest over one lap'', concludes Red Bull's chief executive.
