According to the British website Money.co.uk, Lewis Hamilton is statistically the best Formula 1 driver of all time. In a large study, the website compares all drivers from the 70 years that the sport has existed.

In order to answer the question who is the best driver of all time, Money.co.uk uses a number of variables to calculate a score. The variables include the percentage of victory per start, the number of championships won, the number of points per race start and the average number of points scored compared to the teammate.

When everything adds up and everything is set against each other, Lewis Hamilton is crowned best of all time with a score of 92.8 on a scale from 1 to 100. In second place is Juan Manuel Fangio, with a score of 91.6. Michael Schumacher completes the stage with a score of 86.4.
