The Grand Prix of Tuscany will be a special race for several reasons. Among others, it will be the first race this season with fans present, the track has confirmed.

Due to the outbreak of the coronavirus, the current Formula 1 season is very different from other years. Due to the cancellation of several races, Liberty Media has had to find replacement tracks, including the Mugello circuit in Tuscany.

The race will also be the first Grand Prix this season that fans will be able to attend, as the track says via Twitter. "During the three-day Grand Prix, 2880 spectators will be able to attend the event every day: 1000 at the central grandstand, 1000 at Materassi grandstand and members of the Scuderia Ferrari Club will be offered a private location at the Tribuna 58 with 880 tickets available".

Jubilee for Ferrari

The exclusive tickets for Ferrari fans is not only because Mugello is owned by the manufacturer, but also because the Grand Prix of Tuscany is a special event for the team from Maranello. It is in fact the 1000th Grand Prix for Ferrari in Formula 1.

In order to ensure that the fans and the teams present can't infect each other with the corona virus, a detailed plan has been set up to guarantee safety. The plan has been approved by the provincial administration.
