Lando Norris received a grid penalty after ignoring yellow flags in turn 5. The young Briton caught up with an opponent while the flags were flying.

The McLaren driver overtaken Pierre Gasly's approaching AlphaTauri at a time when Nicholas Latifi was parked on the side of the track. Images clearly show Norris overtaking Gasly.
In addition to the three places penalty, Norris also received two penalty points on his racing license. However, this makes little difference for Norris, as these are only his first two points in the current twelve month period.
