As part of the #WeRaceAsOne campaign set up by Formula 1 earlier this week, McLaren once again adapted their livery. Earlier this week pictures already appeared on the halo showing a rainbow.
Changes to the colour scheme
The team is now taking it one step further. In addition to the rainbow on the halo, rainbows are also depicted on the sidepods between the transition from black to blue. The team from Woking also supports the Black Lives Matter movement. Stickers have also been added to the car with the text: End racism.
Yesterday Mercedes came out with the news that they will drive in a completely black livery this season. This is also completely dedicated to stopping racism.
