Roy Nissany will team up with George Russell and Nicholas Latifi for Williams at the post-season test in Abu Dhabi, with the Israeli driver featuring in two sessions.

Nissany featured in rounds one to ten in the 2018 Formula 2 season, where he raced for Campos Racing, scoring just one point when he finished tenth in the feature race at Spa. He was eventually replaced by Roberto Merhi for the final two events on the calendar in Sochi and Abu Dhabi.

Nissany now has his first big opportunity in a Formula 1 car as he is set to drive two sessions for Williams. He'll drive in one morning and one afternoon for the bottom-placed constructor. He'll be alongside George Russell and Nicholas Latifi in the test, with the Canadian replacing Robert Kubica in 2020.

“I am excited to drive for ROKiT Williams Racing in the 2019 Abu Dhabi Pirelli tyre test,” Nissany said.

“It is great experience to build my on-track experience in a current Formula One car, and I hope that I can impress the team whilst doing so.”
