Max Verstappen has put a halt to Ferrari's pole position streak, but the Italian team continue to beat Mercedes on single-lap pace. Sebastian Vettel will be lining up behind Verstappen in Sunday's Mexican Grand Prix. He admits he wishes he was further up, but remains confident for the race tomorrow.

"We would like to be a bit further up, I think it was possible, but we still have the speed. It will be a long race and a tough one on brakes and cooling in general. On the tyres it will also be quite an adventure tomorrow. "All top six cars opt to start on medium tyre so we see who dares to go the longest," Vettel said.

According to Mattia Binotto, the Ferrari drivers saw a yellow flag and reacted to Valtteri Bottas' crash while Verstappen failed to lift. We'll wait and see what happens, but for now, Verstappen's pole position stands.
