In the run-up to the Grand Prix of Belgium, Renault is being bombarded with questions about Esteban Ocon and the possible announcement that the team will make next weekend. For the time being, however, they keep their lips tight.
There have been strong rumours in recent days that Esteban Ocon will be announced this weekend as a replacement for Nico Hülkenberg next year. The French magazine Auto Hebdo, for example, already made it appear on the cover overall in Renault.
Motorsport-Total naturally wanted to know more and decided to contact the French manufacturer directly. However, they ran into a wall there. The team does not comment on the cover of Auto Hebdo and they also refuse to comment on other rumours.
Nico Hülkenberg also realizes that he will have to talk to many journalists in the coming days. Earlier today, he said that he thought the press conference would be interesting this Thursday. Whether he is going to make something public there, he left open.
